Built on Claude · No coding · No jargon

You do everything in your business. You don't have to.

In about a month, guided step by step, you build an AI team that runs part of your business. A working chief of staff in a fortnight. Yours to keep, working the way you work.

What is Build My AI Team? A one-time purchase (£119 to £149) guided method that takes a non-technical business owner or individual from zero to a working AI team on Claude in about a month - a chief of staff first, then a team you choose, each role tested before it goes live.

Your team builds seat by seat - faded until built, amber in its checks, full colour when live. Watch the seats fill below.

What you need before you start

1
A computer you can install on

Mac, or Windows with admin rights. Day zero starts with a 30-second machine check so you know before you spend anything.

2
A Claude account on a paid plan

The team runs on Claude, and the features it needs (Claude's desktop app and Cowork) come with the paid plans - Pro, from $17/month, is where you start. The free plan won't run it, and we say so upfront.

3
About an hour for day zero

One coffee's worth of setup, fully guided, with a "what you should see now" check at every step.

Claude is billed in US dollars by Anthropic, so the exact charge in your currency varies. We walk you through choosing the right plan before you commit to anything.

Who it's for

Two kinds of builder. One method.

Day zero starts with one question: what do you want to achieve? Your answer shapes the whole build - the roles you hire, the order they arrive and what they work on first.

For your business

The one-person business that stops being one person

You run everything - the marketing, the admin, the proposals, the chasing. You build a team that takes the legwork: drafts in your voice, briefings instead of browser tabs, a Monday plan that writes itself.

For your own AI skills

The individual who wants to actually get good at this

You've heard about agents and you want more than another prompt trick. You build a real team for your own life or your day job - and learn prompting, context and working practice properly on the way, because the method teaches as you build.

Try it now

Meet your team before you build it

Every team starts with a chief of staff - the one who knows your whole business and keeps the rest honest. Then you choose who joins. Tap the roles.

Your first fortnight: build your chief of staff. Pick your next hires to see your first month take shape.

The role catalogue

Eight roles at launch, each built one at a time and tested before it goes live. Specialist packs add more over time.

Chief of Staff

Knows the whole business. Always built first - it keeps the rest of the team honest.

Marketing Assistant

Plans and drafts your marketing, in your voice, for you to review and post.

Content Writer

First drafts in your voice - posts, pages, proposals - never published without you.

Research Assistant

Briefings, not browser tabs. Questions answered with sources you can check.

Finance Admin

Invoices chased, expenses categorised, numbers tidy for your accountant.

Sales Assistant

Follow-ups that never slip, drafted replies and a brief on every new enquiry.

AI Coach

Levels up how you use the team - better briefs, better habits, better results.

Ops Manager

Your processes written down at last, kept current as the way you work changes.

The journey - a month, honestly told

How you build your AI team on Claude, week by week

No miracle screenshots. Here's what actually happens, week by week, and what your dashboard looks like at each point. A month is the pace we recommend, not a speed limit - go faster with more sessions in a week, or slower around real life. The checks never get skipped, whatever the pace.

Tuesday, 9.40pm

The evening off that wasn't

The invoices are done. The proposal isn't started. The post you meant to write is three weeks old in your head. Every job in the business ends with you, and it's getting later.

No team yet. Just you.
Day zero · Saturday morning, one coffee

Set up from absolutely nothing

A 30-second machine check, which Claude plan to buy and why, install, first session. Every step has a "what you should see now" checkpoint, so you're never wondering if you've broken it.

Day zero setup - complete
Chief of staff - first interview session booked with yourself
The first fortnight

Your chief of staff learns the business

Real sessions at the keyboard - we say that plainly. A guided interview teaches your first team member your business, your voice and your priorities. It doesn't go live until it passes its checks. That's the rule for every role, always.

Chief of Staff - passed checks, LIVE
Next hires - your choice from the catalogue
The first month

The first Tuesday-night win

Second and third hires join, one at a time, each tested before it's trusted. Then it happens: the proposal draft is waiting for your review instead of waiting to be started. You edit for ten minutes and close the laptop.

Month three

Mondays start with a briefing, not a blank page

The team knows your business now. Research lands as briefings. Drafts arrive in your voice. You review and decide; the team does the legwork. And there's always one more lamp warming up - because that's how teams grow.

What it actually does

Real task in. Real work out.

No jargon, no magic. Here's the shape of an ordinary week with a team behind you.

A voice note recorded in the carbecomes a client proposal draft in your voice, ready for you to edit and send.
A 40-message email threadbecomes a one-page summary with the three decisions that actually need you.
"What did I charge the last three jobs like this?"answered from your own files in a minute, not an evening of folder archaeology.
A competitor's new offerbecomes a one-page briefing: what changed, what it means for you, what to consider.
A rambling idea on a walkbecomes a structured LinkedIn draft in your voice - you read it, tweak it, post it yourself.
A shoebox of receiptsbecomes a tidy, categorised expense list, ready for your accountant to check.
A new enquiry landsbecomes a drafted reply plus a short brief on who they are before you pick up the phone.
Monday, 8.30ambecomes a week plan from your own notes, with the thing that will bite you on Thursday flagged today.

Notice what's missing: nothing posts, sends or spends on its own. Everything is drafts, briefings and lists for you to review. That's not a limitation - it's the design. You keep the judgement; the team does the legwork.

One idea, taken all the way

This is where it compounds. Bring one ambition - say, launching properly - and the team carries the whole chain with you steering.

1. The marketing strategy 2. The plan 3. The graphics 4. The website copy 5. A working website, built with Claude Code

Each step feeds the next, and the same team carries the lot. That's where the multiplier people talk about really comes from - not one task done faster, a whole chain carried.

Plugged into your day

Works with the tools you already use

Your team reads your world, not a demo world. Claude connects to the everyday tools a one-person business actually runs on.

Gmail Google Calendar Google Drive Outlook & Microsoft 365* Word & Excel files Xero Canva Dropbox WordPress.com Your own files & folders

So your emails get summarised, your calendar gets checked and your drafts land in your Drive - without copying and pasting between windows. Hundreds more connections exist in Claude's directory; day zero shows you how to plug in yours. *Outlook and Microsoft 365 need a business Microsoft account - we flag this before you start, not after.

Proof you can point at

Your dashboard shows exactly what's built

Most AI products leave you wondering whether you're doing it right. Yours ships with a live progress dashboard: what's live, what's building, what's next.

Early builders

The first cohort is building now

This is a new product and we won't pretend otherwise - you'll find no invented reviews here. The first builders' stories will live on this page as they happen, told in their words.

Your story could be first

Early builders who want to share their build get featured here - what they built, what it took and what changed. The product's fortnightly check-in captures it as you go, and your dashboard has a share-your-story button waiting for the good moments - so telling your story takes no extra work.

The honest bit

What this is, and what it isn't

Most pages like this promise you the world. Here's the truth instead - it's a better basis for a working relationship.

You'll need a paid Claude plan. The team runs on Claude's desktop app and Cowork, which come with the paid plans (Pro, from $17/month, upwards). The free plan won't run it. We help you pick before you spend.
It's a method, not magic. The first fortnight takes real sessions at the keyboard. Front-load the effort, then the team carries it.
Some things stay yours. Judgement, relationships, decisions and anything with your name on it going into the world. The team drafts; you decide.
AI changes fast - your pack keeps up. Every copy is versioned, and 12 months of updates are included. When Anthropic releases a major new model or a change that affects the method, we ship an updated pack and email you the download. Not every tiny change - the ones that matter.
10 hours a week

If your team took on even a third of that, you'd get back around 3 hours every week - an afternoon a fortnight. Illustrative, not a promise: how much your team takes on depends on what you build and how you use it.

Questions

Asked and answered, honestly

Can I build an AI team on Claude if I'm not technical?
Yes - that's exactly who this is built for. Day zero starts before the beginning: a 30-second machine check, which Claude plan to buy, how to install, and a first session with "what you should see now" checkpoints. If you can follow a recipe, you can follow this.
What do I need before I start?
Three things: a computer you can install software on (Mac, or Windows with admin rights), a Claude account on a paid plan (Pro or above - the desktop app and Cowork features the team runs on aren't in the free plan), and about an hour for day zero. The machine check comes first, so you know your setup works before you buy anything.
How much does it cost to run each month?
Our product is a one-time purchase - no subscription to us. Claude is a separate subscription to Anthropic: the Pro plan starts at $17/month (billed in US dollars, so the charge in your currency varies). We tell you honestly which plan you need before you commit, including where its usage limits will pinch and what to do about it.
What happens when Claude changes?
AI tools move quickly, and a method written in stone would date in months. Every copy of the pack is versioned, and your purchase includes 12 months of updates: when Anthropic releases a major new model, or changes something that affects the method, we ship an updated pack and email you automatically so you can download it. We don't chase every tiny change - we ship the ones that matter. After 12 months you can renew updates or keep the version you have - it stays yours either way.
How does the guarantee work?
It's a build guarantee, not a browse guarantee. Work through day zero and your first build session within 14 days; if you don't have a working chief of staff taking shape, tell us what happened and we'll refund you in full. We ask what happened for two reasons: it's fair, and every answer makes the product better for the next person. Full terms here.
How is this different from a prompt pack or a template?
A prompt pack gives you a burst of first-day value that fades because nothing remembers anything. This builds a persistent team: files, memory and roles that know your business between sessions, with a method for testing each role before you trust it, and a dashboard that shows what's real. It's the difference between borrowing a phrase book and hiring a translator. Underneath it all sits a proper information architecture - one home for every fact, short files, a two-minute close ritual - which is the unglamorous reason this still works at month six when the prompt packs have been forgotten. We wrote a full guide on the difference.
Can I use this to build my own AI skills, not just a business team?
Yes - that's half of who this is for. The method teaches as you build: prompting that actually works, how context windows behave, good working practices and how to structure a team of agents around your life or your day job. You finish with a working team and the skills to grow it - which is worth more than either alone.
Can I go faster than a month?
Yes. The month is our recommended pace for someone fitting this around a busy week - it is not a speed limit. Go faster by running more build sessions in a week; the quality checks are per role, not per calendar, so nothing gets skipped by moving quickly. It's fully self-paced in both directions.
Will it write in my voice?
That's one of the first things the method builds: your personal style guide, taught from your real writing. Drafts come back sounding like you on a good day - and you review everything before it goes anywhere.
What can't it do?
It won't run your business while you sleep, and we won't pretend it will. Some automations (like fully automated social posting) aren't reliably possible and we say so. The honest frame: the team does the legwork, you keep the judgement.
